"As a long-time Wing Chun practitioner I have to admire Kokkarakis for his intelligent, well-crafted, and mature book on the art. This isn't just another rip-off of Bruce Lee. This is a serious and (I hope) lasting book that will help students understand the science and philosophy of this ancient art." - Jeremy Henderson (Claymont, DE)

"Very good book. The information on the Bong Sau alone is remarkable, and has added a new method for my training this. Inch force, Luk Sau and Dan Chi Sau are explained very well..If you are training few years, you should see this book!" - Reader Review

"For those of you that can't make up their minds as to what Martial Arts system to study! For those of you that want to know how Martial Arts can improve you physically and mentally, just run through a couple of pages of 'Comprehensive theory and Applications of Wing Chun Jin Kuen by Jason G Kokkorakis. That includes other Martial Arts masters." - Sifu Chow

"I've had this book for 2 weeks, I've read it twice and it's completely changed the way I think about Wing Chun. Testing out some of the concepts as the author describes them has shed new light on many aspects of my training and left me feeling that I've wasted years practicing drills incorrectly." - Reader Review

Once you've made up your mind to invest time and money in studying Wing Chun, you can not just rely on classes alone, you need a fine book to refresh what you have been told and what you have practiced in the class. Therefore, I would recommend you study Jason G Kokkorakis book on the Sui Lum Tao. This book will become your second Wing Chun instructor and a long time training companion. - Sifu Chow

To learn a martial art is not so simple as just going to class. It also takes understanding with proper guidance and proper motivation to gain experience.  It normally involves a multi-dimensional approach.

One dimension is media: magazines, books, posters, videos, dvds and the like. If someone is interested in learning more about the most popular Shaolin systems in today’s modern era – Wing Chun Kuen – then the book you are holding is an excellent source.

Sifu Jason Kokkorakis approaches Wing Chun in multiple dimensions in this book. You’ll see good quality, clear photos plus read good information on proper techniques, mechanics and concepts… and solid information on proper mindset and attitude to get the most out of your training time with partners.

I, and the entire VTM staff, would like to congratulate Sifu Kokkorakis on his excellent book. It is a great offering to the Wing Chun community and will prove to be a valuable source-book for anyone starting their journey in Wing Chun Kuen
